Chris Mills
Head of Academic Services
Chris Mills studied BA (Hons) Sport & Leisure Management at Staffordshire University and holds a PG Certificate in Business Administration. He has worked in Higher Education since 2007 and has an extensive understanding of undergraduate student experience, student support and quality assurance sector regulatory requirements. Chris is currently Head of University Centre Colchester Academic Services and is always happy to meet and discuss University Centre Colchester with any future, current or past student. Tracy Blair
Senior Academic Services Officer
Tracy Blair possesses over 18 years of combined experience in management and higher education. Since University Centre Colchester’s inception in 2005, Tracy has played a pivotal role, including overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the Academic Services Officers. Tracy is a skilled problem-solver with a passion for student success. Tracy is able to dedicate time to directly support students with any academic concerns and financial aid applications.
Students are therefore encouraged to connect with Tracy for any questions or concerns they might have during their studies.

Diane Whant
Academic Services Officer
Diane Whant brings extensive experience in administration, staff, and project management, having worked within both industry and the education sector, including both further and higher education. She rejoined University Centre Colchester in May 2015 and currently serves as one of the Academic Services Officers. In this role, Diane is responsible for ensuring processes and information are current and accurate, providing support to both the Engineering and Teacher Training programmes. Ailsa Clarke
Academic Services Officer
Ailsa Clarke studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at Bath Spa University and MA Art, Design and the Book at University Centre Colchester. She has worked in Arts and Heritage sector before joining University Centre Colchester in 2013. In her spare time she works on her own surface pattern designs and illustration. Natasha Sayers
Academic Services Officer
Natasha Sayers studied BSc (Hons) Textiles and Apparel at De Montfort University. She has been working at Colchester Institute/University Centre Colchester since December 1999, when she joined as a temporary member of staff. Natasha is an Academic Services Officer, which includes the administration of exam boards, degree certification and assessment instruments amongst other quality and academic standards processes.
