What help can I get with Student Finance?
If you are aged over sixteen and thinking of enrolling on a full or part-time course, you can apply for funding through the student finance application form below. Funds will be targeted at students where there is an identified low household income. This application form should also be used if you are 19 years old and starting your second year of a two year course with us or aged 19-24 and have a current Education, Health and Care Plan.
You are advised to read the policies and guidelines below and ensure that you provide all the evidence that is required when submitting your application.
The student will need their log in information for their Colchester Institute account before they start the bursary application process. Please do not make a new account if you already have one as you will not be able use the second account to apply for the bursary. If you cannot remember your log in information, please use this link to reset your password or call 01206 712222 for assistance. Please note that there are two pages of the bursary application for the student to complete. On page 1 you will be asked what you need help with and to provide the details of any benefits being claimed by you or your family and on page 2 you will need to upload the supporting evidence. Once you have uploaded the evidence, the application process has been completed. If evidence is not uploaded, this will delay the application assessment.
