University Centre Colchester | Business and Management

A degree in business and management will help you develop a broader knowledge of business operations and an understanding of a diverse range of business fields, such as communications; marketing; finance; operations; strategy; innovation; sustainability; HR and information systems.

As a BA (Hons) Business and Management student, you can shape your studies around your own career ambitions ensuring you develop the personal and professional skills needed in your career. You will study with students and staff from a range of industries and backgrounds. This course is also available through the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

Reasons to study with us:

  • Accreditation by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), validated by University of East Anglia (UEA)
  • Gain an industry-recognised Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma alongside your degree
  • Smaller classes allow for individual support
  • The degree is aligned with the Level 6 degree apprenticeship

I chose to study here mainly due to the smaller class sizes which allow for more in-depth discussion. I like that we are taught the basics before trying to understand more challenging material, which helps me to understand how and why something is done.
