All of these courses are based online – all you need is internet connection. Your learning materials and additional learning resources are available 24/7 so you can study at any time to suit your lifestyle and commitments.
These courses could be *FREE for those meeting the eligibility criteria.
Our online access courses can also be funded through an Advanced Learner Loan, which you only start to pay back when your earnings reach £27,295. If you do get a loan to cover tuition fees for the Access to HE course and then complete a higher education (degree) course, you won’t have to repay the remaining loan for the Access course.

Our online courses are delivered though the easy-to-use and engaging platform PEARL with interactive content that can be tailored to your study requirements.

Study in a welcoming classroom environment
Alongside our portfolio of online courses, we also offer the Access to Health Professions pathway as a classroom-based course at our Colchester Campus.
How does the course work?
The Access Main Course offers a programme of academic study, equivalent to A Levels, leading to entry on degree and diploma courses. It has two elements:
1. Core Studies (Seminar Presentations, Study Skills, Academic Writing and Academic/Group/Personal Tutorials).
2. Additional or Specialist Studies (chosen according to your needs and the course of study which you want to pursue).
