Training and Assessment
Once it is confirmed which Category you are in, we offer three options for training and assessment related to the different Categories;
Category 1 applicants have the options to join our Category 2 course as a refresher and then take the assessment or to take the assessment without training.
Category 2 course: This is over four days (two days training and two days assessment).
Please Note: This course is intense and is suitable for a Category 1 applicant who wishes to refresh or a Category 2 applicant who has had previous experience on oil boilers. For more in depth training, a Category 2 applicant would be recommended to join our Category 3 course (OFT50) as this is spread over four days and is therefore less intense.Â
Category 3 Course: This is the OFT50 course and the training is over four days after which a two day assessment can be taken by a candidate who qualifies.
