Appliance Training and Assessment

The Appliance Training and Assessment has been created to allow candidates to obtain competence in their chosen appliances.

Course outcome/qualifications:

Candidates will obtain ACS qualification which will enable them to register with Gas Safe in order to work on their chosen appliances.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).

How to Apply
CENWAT1

On completion of the CENWAT1 – Domestic Natural Gas Fired Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers and Circulators up to 70kw  delegates will be able to install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission fired central heating/ hot water boilers and circulators up to 70kw net input.

Course outcome/qualification:

All candidates will be qualified to perform the above operations.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).

CKR1

On completion of the CKR1 – Domestic Natural Gas Cooking Appliances course delegates will be able to install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic gas cooking appliances.

Course outcome/qualification:

Candidates will be qualified to perform the above operations.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).

DAH1

On completion of the DAH1 – Domestic Natural Gas Fired Ducted Air Heaters of Rated Input not Exceeding 60kw delegates will be able to install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic gas fired ducted-air heaters of rated input not exceeding 70kw.

Course outcome/qualification:

Candidates will be qualified to perform the above operations.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).

HTR1

On completion of the HTR1 – Domestic Natural Gas Open, Balanced and Fan Assisted, Flued Gas Fires and Wall Heaters delegates will be able to install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic natural gas open, balanced and fan assisted, flued gas fires and wall heaters.

Course outcome/qualification:

Candidates will be qualified to perform the above operations.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).

MET1

On completion of the MET1 – Domestic Natural Gas Meters delegates will be able to install, exchange, remove and commission domestic gas meters.

Candidates will be qualified to perform the above operations.

Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1).
