TPCP1/1A – Testing and purging commercial pipework

On completion delegates will be able to make the gas connection to commercial pipework in excess of 28mm diameter, requiring the system to be proved gas tight and purged of air.

Course Content

TPCP1 is specifically focused on systems greater than 1m3 in volume and follows the requirements of IGE/UP/1.

TPCP1a is specifically focused on systems smaller than 1m3 in volume and follows the requirements of IGE/UP/1a.

This course requires one day training and is followed by a one day assessment

Course outcome/qualification:

To prove competence with Testing and Purging of commercial gas installations and gain qualification to enable registration with Gas Safe to this effect.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualifications

Candidates must currently hold and provide evidence of existing commercial Core or Changeover Natural Gas Safety qualifications:

CODNCO1 Domestic to Commercial Natural Gas Changeover or COCN1 Commercial Natural Gas Safety (full or limited scope)
