You will receive foundation knowledge of accountancy through a mixture of classroom teaching and simulated activities to replicate the type of work you would be doing in industry. You will also engage in activities to develop your English, maths and employability skills.

Throughout the duration of the Accounting Level 3, you will learn the following;

  • Fundamentals of financial accounting
  • Elementary finical principles, concepts, and practices
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and business mathematics
  • Professionalism and ethics
  • Responsibilities in the workplace
  • Data, analytics, and design thinking

Assessment methods

All assessments are external exams and projects.

Entry Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs (9-5) including English Language and maths
  • Successful completion of a pre-assessment day
  • An interview
What Can I Do Next?

Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the opportunity to work in an accounts department or become a trainee accountant.
