Former Public Services student talks about his work as a Prison Officer

Former Public Services student, Liam Chapman delivered a presentation, giving a careers brief and overview of his life serving as a Prison Officer. 

The presentation was delivered to all Level 3 students currently studying Criminology as part of their course and covered entry requirements, training and roles, along with the responsibilities of a frontline Prison Officer.  

HM Prison Service is currently underrepresented, this visit generated a great deal of positive interest and presented lots for our learners to research regarding possible future careers.
